Hi! I'm Haley. I'm a Canadian writer and book worm.

 

I am a PhD student at the University of Waterloo studying the language of appetite in women's food memoirs. Combining food, body, queer and gender studies my research uses discourse and narrative analyses to understand how hegemonic social pressures create contradictions in women's relationships to their appetites and how (if) they satisfy them.​
